Glossy 8x10" bw photo showing noted silent film actress Sweet in desperate pose. Sweet began her career under the tutelage of D.W. Griffith, quickly becoming a rival to Mary Pickford. Signed in blue ink "For Dick Davis, With Pleasure, Blanche Sweet." Slight ripple at top left-hand corner with handling wear at corners. If framed, would display N. Mint.
