Item Description
Complete and unused 7x8" perforated sheet of stamps with gummed reverses. c. 1940s. Originally issued with Captain Marvel Club Christmas letter. Text at top refers to Fawcett comic books. Each stamp is 1.25x1.75" and includes Captain Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr. Mary Marvel, Hoppy The Marvel Bunny, Billy Batson, Captain Midnight, Spy Smasher, Bulletman, Bulletgirl, Hopalong Cassidy and others. Sheet is unfolded but has since become affixed to thin cardboard sheet. 2.25" faint crease at bottom right-hand corner, only visible in reflected light. Despite being affixed to cardboard, stamps still display Exc., being preserved as these stamps easily separate along perforations.
