28x41" poster for apparent c. 1920-1925 vaudeville musical comedy as poster reads "Rube Goldberg's Musical Comedy Surprise - Boob McNutt - Full Of Startling Novelties." Poster by National Printing & Engraving Co. Poster shows Boob peeking in on bathing beauties, most of whom are in skimpy bathing suits, one in red high heels. Boob has been caught by policeman who raises his billy club. Poster shows obvious and heavy wear, especially at margins with multiple tears, dust soiling and areas of moisture staining. Bottom right-hand margin has several .25-.5" chips missing. Four .25" areas of paper missing which have tape repairs at reverse. Technically Good but images remain bright, clean and vibrant. Poster would benefit from linen-mounting and restoration. Rare.
