Item Description
Fan card is 7.25x9.25" on card stock. Great image of an overjoyed Mickey and Pluto which has been hand-colored by a studio artist, Walt's facsimile signature appears below. Lt. corner tip wear, slight trace of aging. VF. Comes w/original mailing envelope and letter, both w/2719 Hyperion Hollywood address. Envelope is aged and worn, back is missing a 2x4" piece. Good but still contains cardboard packing insert. Letter is dated April 20, 1936 and in part reads "We are glad to learn of the success of your sketch club and as you requested are enclosing a drawing of Mickey Mouse and his pal Pluto the Pup." Signed by Marian M. Collins. Lt. handling wear. VF. Card is scarce and letter is the only example of its type we have seen.
