Item Description
1.75" reading "For Governor Theodore Roosevelt." Tiny hole on bottom edge where a loop once held a rabbit's foot. Missing the backpaper. Barely noticeable slightly darker dot to the left of the hole. Curl reads "Copyright 1898, Rockwood, N.Y." plus the Whitehead & Hoag name and city follows. Over the letters "ROCK" there is a small dark spot plus a tiny 1/16" split but this does not show on the front which still displays clean and glossy. Much scarcer than the 7/8" versions of this button.
