7/8" beautiful sepia with names below images accented by stars, eagle and double flags. Tiniest tone mark on Fairbanks' cheek but barely noticeable. The design is the same as Hake #3 and matches a 1.25" unlisted version we had in Auction #192 which exceeded $2,000. Reverse is open-backed and with no backpaper likely as issued. The original fastener was a horizontal bar pin but this horizontal pin is gone and has been replaced with a standard spring pin. A rare design.
