Clear plastic oval box is 3x4x1.5" deep. Inner liner of cotton-like material accented by a red and blue ribbon. The item is a high relief molded plastic replica of his hat. Slogan is in individual die-cut letters on the upper and lower edges of the hat. Underside of the hat has an opening which holds a standard spring pin. Slightly raised lettering on the underside reads "'Hat In The Ring'" while below is a 1964 copyright date and the name of the maker "Novoy Enterprises Inc. St. Louis. Mo."
