Item Description
10x15" with 66 pages. Color. 1906. Frederick A. Stokes Co. Hans and Fritz are pictured on front running towards their schoolmate Percy. Front cover has .75x.75" chip to bottom right-hand side corner and shows scattered wear. VG. Title page shows heavy wear with 1-1/8x2" chip missing at bottom by spine. This piece has been replaced by linen backing. Good. Rest of pages show light wear/aging and are Fine/VF overall. Stories by Rudolph Dirks feature Hans, Fritz and Der Captain kidnapped by stereotypical black cannibals; and on sailing trip with stereotypical Chinese cook.
