1930s Japanese toy by same company as item #1801. This toy has overall size of 4x8x7.5" w/pair of attached 4" tall celluloid figures. Box is nicely illustrated on all sides. Side panels feature different images of Mickey and Minnie along w/their nephews and Pluto. Bottom edge of lid has paste-over label reading "By Special Permission Walt Disney Enterprises Australia." Box has obvious wear, corner splits, side panels have noticeable traces of missing surface paper and tape staining. Lid has small bit of missing surface paper at lower right corner and inked date at lower left. Side panels are Good, top of lid itself displays as Fine. The Minnie figure has a slightly enlarged hole on one leg where it attaches to the metal rod so it will stay in place for display purposes but does come off during operation. Otherwise toy is Exc. and working. Rare w/this style box.
