7/8" for NYC event marking 50th anniversary of the proclamation. Bastian backpaper. Text reads "Emancipation Exposition/New York City 1913." Button surface is a little bumpy but noticeable only to the touch and there is no stain. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Social Causes/Civil Rights section #31. Comes with Hake's COA. Also see Lincoln/Douglass c. 1898 jugate button #229 and rare 1940s button protesting baseball's racial policies as well as Adolf Hitler #638.
