Item Description
7.5" long to tips of painted tin antenna. 1920s, Germany. Litho tin plate on underside is highly marked including patents, 1911 date, Gunthermann trademark as well as additional circle mark which says "Made In Nuremburg Bavaria Perplex." Toy works and travels about in a realistic fashion making sharp turns and scurrying around. Scattered paint nicks mostly evident on legs and antenna. Some darkening of the paint on the bottom edges of the body, possible early factory touch-ups. Fine.
