Item Description
Large 15.5" long heavy gauge painted tin. By Marx, 1930s. Toy has a built-in key on one side and travels forward when wound. Battery operated function of this vehicle operates the headlights. Battery compartment has some overall oxidation but contacts are clean and bulbs light. Door is marked "Siren Police Patrol" with siren illustration. Additional police text appears on the car's body. Designed with manually steerable front wheels and has a brake lever on back attached to one fender. Grille retains most of plated luster. Other unpainted metal parts have toned with age. Rest of car has scattered paint nicks and scratches and has a few areas where paint is worn down to bare metal from play wear not that offensive. Overall car still displays nicely and is about Fine.
