4-7/8x6-5/8". Well done, colorful illustrations printed by "M. F. Tobin/© N.Y. 1882." Printed on heavy card stock. Each colorful action scene is captioned below. Three refer to "Scenes In The Sunny South" and are captioned "Way Down On The Swanee River/I'se A Gazing On Ye's, You Naughty Gal/By And By We Shall Meet Thee." Two refer to "Going To Camp Meeting" w/captions "In The Morning By The Bright Light/Gone To Meet The Angels Peaceful Evermore." Uncertain of the significance of the locomotive named "Sunny South" and riverboat named "Jordan." Last is "Dancing In De Barn" w/caption "Look Yer You Man! Keep You Eye On Dat Yer Splinter." Illustration shows man holding lady's foot in preparation to remove splinter apparently acquired while barefoot dancing in the barn. Blank reverses w/glue residue from scrapbook removal. Evenly aged. A delightful series. Fine.
