Item numbers 1 though 975 in auction 196
Item Description
5.25x21.5x13.75" tall. c. 1930s. Painted wood. Wonderful deco design. "Strings" are painted wood letters applied to the front. All other lettering and accents are on the front. Hinged back opens to reveal numerous compartments for holding boxed products. Price list is applied inside fold-down back. Five product boxes remain w/bagged product enclosed. Strings for mandolin, guitar, banjo. Scattered paint loss along bottom base area, scattered tape residue appears on back, not affecting display. Also included is updated "Gibson Strings" price list effective June 14, 1948. Yellow lettering remains bright and appears to 'glow' against the blue bkg. A wonderful design. Overall Fine.
