Item Description
It seems some version of this copyrighted W&H design makes an appearance in each of our auctions, but usually in the form of a carnival or fair promotional button. Here he claims his allegiance to the Superior Drill Co. of Springfield, Ohio and poses the question "Why Aren't You?" Other than the word "Superior," the company's name and location does not appear on the button although it may have on a backpaper gone from this example. At 2-1/8", this is an exceptionally large farm equipment advertising button. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Farm Equipment Section #150. Comes with Hake's COA. Pinpoint rub on right edge shows as tiny dot but all else is bright and clean. Exc. and only example known to us. See button with similar graphics for Sioux City carnival #684.
