Item Description
Pair of 1.25" buttons from early 1900s with covered tin back and name of maker St. Louis Button Co. Green bkg. probably came first but when the black type proved hard to read color was likely switched to the red version. Dog is inscribed "We Want Your Orders" and below they advertise their various paint, paving and roofing materials. Hake book Collectible Pin-Back Buttons photo example Building/Road Construction Section #57 is the red version. The green version is not in CPB. Comes with Hake's COA. Both N. Mint, displaying Mint.
