Item Description
First is .75" tall cello oval with pair of brass ears on the reverse. These were typically used to hold celluloid covers to ink blotter sheets. Superb color. Next is 1930s 1.25" Santa but with its paper-on-cloth die-cut lower body which is held in place by the reverse pin. Back includes name of maker Phila. Badge. Santa is heavily creased across the legs but the cello remains Exc. Next is "Joe, The Motorist's Friend" c. 1950 and with suspended bell. Similar in concept but totally different design is "See Me At Barney's." This has even larger bell suspended by cord. Next is .75" square relatively modern pin with what seems to be image of Santa on ceramic with brass luster backing. Next is earlier full figure plastic Santa pin c. 1950s. Last is rarely seen and large 4" litho with text "Santa Is My Friend" plus suspended ribbon from sponsor ladies store "Lord & Taylor." Couple age dots on the ribbon but the button displays Exc. although its horizontal bar pin from the back is gone.
