Item Description
3.75x7.75x.5" deep box with die-cut display window partially exposing set of 12 unsharpened 7.5" long Linton lead pencils. Each has painted blue wood body, tin litho top piece featuring repeated Popeye image and holds blue eraser. Each pencil has 1949 KFS copyright although box lid has later 1957 copyright. Box lid features illustration of Popeye with over-sized pencil behind ear. Box and pencil show slightest aging but are all unused and Exc. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
