Item Description
This interesting item is c. 1935 and manufactured by Kilgore who are known for their many cap guns. This "gun" is 8" long and comes with original illustrated box. Box is missing one small inner flap. Moderate scattered aging. Fine. Metal gun has barrel covered by paper label, end cap has Mickey decal on one side. The cap was to be removed and a small .75" dia. rubber "Bubblet" was to be attached. When the handle was pumped, it in turn caused the Bubblet to expand and pop. Gun shows very little aging, decal has a number of tiny flakes. VF. Also included is small box originally containing perforated rubber sheet of 48 "Bubblets." Contents remain but have dried and hardened into a solid lump. Box itself has just trace of aging and is Exc. Neat toy. From the Michael J. Stern Collection.
