Box is 1930s with small ink stamp on one side "Made In England" large enough to have possibly held a Chad Valley doll. Interior top edge also has lace border accent possibly indicating it could have held biscuits or other such food product. Regardless, box is a great display piece on its own with images of Mickey, Minnie, Horace, Clarabell and Pluto. This includes Mickey playing horseshoes, marbles and golfing and Minnie gardening and feeding her goldfish. Lid missing staples at 3 of 4 corners. Box has lt. trace of aging with some scattered wear along edges, however, remains tight and clean overall. Displays VF. Impressive and rare. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
