Item Description
Set of 36, each 13/16" litho. Originally issued one per cereal box in 1943 and created by legendary "Premium King" Sam Gold (see previous item as well). The inks used were very susceptible to chipping and the gloss finish was a magnet for dust so most examples today are just Good to VG. This set has been assembled from hundreds of examples and grades VF to essentially Mint. All have bright colors and high gloss. Only about 5 have a trivial tiny paint rub. An extremely high grade set Rare in this condition and displaying N. Mint to Mint.
