Item Description
1935 by Soreng-Manegold. Lamp has painted tin body with 5" dia., 6.5" tall to top of socket. Version with green body (also came in beige). Around outside surface are 3 identical Mickey decals, each which has some tiny nicks/flakes but overall all 3 remain nearly complete. Base has small scattered trace of wear but remains glossy. Re-wired and working. Fine. The glossy thin cardboard shade is 5.25" tall. From a series of six different, each was numbered. This is #1 and features the Big Bad Wolf playing a harp while the Three Little Pigs play their instruments and dance. All-over aging with some minor scattered crease lines not affecting images. Top interior rim edge has trace of repair to small split near invisible on outside surface. Images remain strong and shade is still structurally sound. Still displays Fine. These shades are about 50 times rarer than the lamps and this is the first time in our 41 years we've offered this particular shade. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
