Item Description
5x9.5x8" tall nice quality and well-designed accordion c. 1955. Top/bottom wood panels have Davy's name along with related images of flint lock pistol, rifle, knife, coonskin cap. The top and bottom tin litho segments feature different images on all 4 sides of Davy in different scenes/settings. Attached to top is wood block that holds the metal keys and on one side are two thumb keys although one of the two .5" dia. key disks is missing. Missing the generic hand strap. Two of the top keys have tin valve covers missing. None of this affects appearance for display. Still works and produces musical notes. Has noticeable scattered wear to the tin pieces in the form of paint nicks and scratches, edge wear, etc. Overall VG but rare, the only example we've offered in our 41 years.
