This ring is of the same design as item #1146. See that description for background details. This ring has most of its bright brass luster finish remaining. Viewed actual size, almost none of the luster loss seen in our greatly-enlarged photo is evident to the naked eye. Without magnification about the only barely noticeable missing luster is from the extreme edges of the lower prong that overlaps the inner prong. As is so typical, the paper image of "Superman" on the underside of the snap-off brass plate has a small defect. The upper right corner of the sticker is partially there but the letters "AN" of "SUPERMAN" are gone and on the tiny remaining paper remnants it appears someone added a little dot of darker red color. Rest of the sticker has minor surface wear under magnification but displays nicely and overall the name text and his image are well over 90% complete. With this much of the sticker remaining and with the excellent luster on the brass parts of the ring, we think this example easily qualifies as VF.
