Among the rarest and nicest designs issued by the early comic book clubs for their members. From 1941, this is a beautiful example displaying Mint in the large 1.75" size and it is complete with its "M. Pudlin Co. Inc." backpaper. The only flaw is a .75" hairline between the celluloid and reverse collet where the celluloid did not totally fold beneath the collet but the celluloid lays perfectly flat and causes no bump on the rim edge. We had our first in years back in Auction #192 and that exceeded $2,000. This one displays just as nice and comes from an old time collection with most reasonable opening bid.
