Item Description
9.5" tall by 13" wide © 1936 John Dille Co. Fabric bag has leather-wrapped metal handle (w/old repair), leather straps and metal buckles. Center flap on bag front reads "Buck Rogers-Wilma Deering." Red/blue/green images of Buck and Wilma appear in lower corners. Upper corners show attack ship and atomic pistol. Upper portion has external pencil pocket. Flattened w/obvious splits and wear, not affecting images of Buck or Wilma or text, which remain VF. Overall VG. Even the most advanced Buck Rogers collectors are missing this item. Offered by Cream of Wheat for 70¢ plus a coupon. Except for a complete uniform, this item tied for the second most costly of items being offered at that time. This is the only example that we know of.
