Item Description
17.5x22.5" stiff paper poster for Jul. 31, 1968 benefit concert at The Kaleidoscope in Manayunk, PA. Concert was put on by the Penna. Committe for McCarthy and a $3 donation was collected at the door including free ticket to the McC Day rally. Concert featured folk singer Guthrie and Elizabeth, poster features psychedelic art by Ginny Jacobs. Scattered aging and wear, corners have pin holes and tears, surface paper lifts along left margin. VG/Fine. Poster serves as a tangible placard and legacy to the turbulent yet hopeful and promising time of the summer of 1968.
