Complete set of five 8x10" pictures w/choice full color art (see rare promotional sheet #2523). These were issued w/two back varieties, either blank or w/text. All are text back varieties that include text pertaining to that particular picture scene, list of all five titles and information on how these were obtained. Picture numbers and titles are 1-Tonto Saves the Lone Ranger, 2-The Lone Ranger Licks Kester, 3-The Lone Ranger Rescues Joan at The Pit, 4-Tonto Fights Off The Troopers, 5-The Lone Ranger Foils A Murderer. #1 is variety w/mask overprint on Lone Ranger. Lt. aging to reverses, each has small trace of margin/corner tip wear, a very minor bend/exceedingly minor surface crease at one corner, all only noticeable when viewed closely. Set remains VF. Rarely found as a complete set. The last set we were able to offer in this same condition sold in excess of $1500.
