Item Description
3-5/8x6.5" first day cover envelope has Feb. 20, 1962 postmark and has been signed in blue ink by all 7 of the Mercury Seven astronauts. The original 7 include John Glenn Jr., Donald K. Slayton, (Virgil) Gus Grissom, Alan B. Shepard Jr., Scott Carpenter, Walter Schirra Jr. and Gordon Cooper. Envelope is complete with "Project Mercury" stamp showing Mercury capsule in orbit. Envelope is sealed and shows lt. aging, most noticeable on back at glue areas. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
