Item Description
About 5' tall, 2-piece cardboard standee shows Superman as he appeared at the time of his debut in 1938. Standee was issued in 1998 in conjunction with the USPS's 1930s series of stamps "Celebrate The Century - Collecting A Century In Stamps" with Superman being entry for 1938. Comes with separate 46" long sign reading "Celebrate The Century - Collecting A Century In Stamps." This die-cut piece has wear to tops of letters and at corners. VF/Exc. Comes with 15.25" tall die-cut countertop display promoting stamp collecting with die-cut image of Superman and is meant to contain brochures with "Superman Arrives 1938" stamp on front. Comes with 2 packs of these brochures. Comes with original assembly instructions and original mailing carton. Standee shows lt. color rubs but is Exc.
