Item Description
Two 8x10" glossy bw stills show Academy Award-nominated actress Hopkins, known for her performances as the female lead in "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" with Fredric March and her role in "Becky Sharp" which garnered her an Oscar nomination. First photo is signed in faded brown ink "For Clara Lucca - Regards - Miriam Hopkins." Slight emulsion loss to inscription but still very legible. Pair of .25" tears in upper left corner. Framed, would display Exc. Second publicity photo shows Hopkins in close-up with fur wrap. Signed in blue ink "For Charles **illegible** Regards, Miriam Hopkins." Corners have .25" to 1" chips from mounting and 3.5" heavy crease in upper left but if framed would display VF. Comes with Hake's COA. From the Mariano Lucca Collection.
