Auction #197 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 991 in auction 197
Item Description
Six badges, each 1.25x2.5" laminated cardboard with reverse pin. Images are very similar except for color variations. On upper left corner of most, readable is his signature "Max" and "July 4/1981." We found only 2 sets of 6 in the collection. The first 6, undamaged, exceeded $500 in Auction #192. Of these 6, the first two are essentially Mint. The color layer on these is very thin and these next four have a few tiny defects. Third badge has 2 color dots off Liberty's base. Fourth has tiny dot off upper left and 1/8" line off lower left. Fifth has speck of color off lower corner tips. Sixth has damage line that blends on left side. A line of color is off from her raised arm down to top edge of her base. This is 1/8" wide at worst area but does blend. A rare group. Comes with Hake's COA.
