1.5x8x13" box has bw photos of Mickey Mantle, Junior Gilliam, Hank Bauer, Duke Snider, Phil Rizzuto, Ed Matthews on the lid. Illustration on lid also shows baseball diamond w/text "Paint By Numbers/Three Large Portraits Of Your Favorite Baseball Players/Creative Pleasure For Everyone." Side panels include text "Pre-mixed Colors/Three Pre-planned 9x12" Canvases/Two Artist Brushes/Complete Instructions/M&M Enterprises Inc./Palisades Park, New Jersey. Three Striking Oil Portraits The First Time You Try. Oil Painting Made Easy/No Experience Necessary." Stamped on side panel is "P-100 Pittsburgh Pirates/Gordon-Law-Lynch." Box has insert which holds oil paint in tiny plastic reservoirs along w/easy to follow instructions. 12.5x28.5" long rolled paint-by-number canvas featuring Gordon, Law and Lynch. Paint appears to have dried from age. Canvas is unused and Exc. Box lid has .25x1" surface paper loss where original price sticker was removed, not affecting images or text. Scattered color loss along green edge area. c. 1950s. Exc.
