10.5x16x1.5" deep boxed game by Rosebud Art Co. ©1919-1929-1933 King Features Syndicate Inc. Box tray has 2 attached wooden blocks, each slotted for holding die-cut cardboard figures of Popeye and Olive Oyl. Each full color litho paper figure is about 10" tall and on heavy cardboard. Separate wooden pipe fits into Popeye's mouth as ring target. Inside bottom is printed game directions with Popeye and Olive Oyl portrait images. Game parts are Exc. though missing generic rings. Box itself has nice color label showing Popeye and Olive Oyl watching Swee'Pea throwing rings at target. Lid has 2 corner splits and surface paper creasing, 5" tear with neat glue repair. Box bottom has heavy insect damage to surface paper but remains structurally sound. VG+.
