Item Description
11x14" lobby cards for 1941 Republic serial starring Frank Coghlan Jr. as Billy Batson and Tom Tyler as his heroic alter-ego Captain Marvel. Both cards have nice C.C. Beck Captain Marvel art image ©Fawcett Publications Inc. Chapter 6 "Lens Of Death" has bluetone photo image of Coghlan being stuck-up by 2 gun-wielding crooks. Chapter 12 "Captain Marvel's Secret" shows Coghlan again, about to be tied to stake with female co-star Louise Currie, hooded and robed villain The Scorpion is seen ordering henchman. Both show lt. handling wear, pinholes at corners of Chapter 6 card. Fine/VF.
