Item Description
2x2.25" badge w/1" celluloid insert showing color image of Dewey. 1.5x2.5" U.S. flag ribbon is attached to 2.5" wide rwb ribbon that is tied like a bow tie. Large ribbon is 9" across and has 12" and 17" long sides that drape on either side of badge, we believe these were intended to be tied around the neck so the piece could be worn as a bow tie. Metal is marked on back Whitehead & Hoag. Has bar on back but not a bar pin that opens. Ribbon has lt. creases from several folds but bright and shiny. Badge and celluloid are N. Mint. Ornate ribbon for wearing as part of patriotic attire.
