Item Description
3.5x5.5" card with "AZO" around the place to position the stamp. Also neatly penciled on o/w unused reverse are the names "Roosevelt/Wilson/Taft." Front of the card shows a department store window with caption below "Laborkern's Window - Chatsworth, Ill. 1912." On the bkg. vertical panel is a hand-written sign reading "The Hat In The Ring." Below in the rectangular display area is a dark line forming a large oval. In the middle of this is a hat like TR wore with a small sign on the front of it reading "The Future." Lettered in the foreground of this again is "The Hat In The Ring." In the back left corner is a sombrero-style hat that was of the style sometimes worn by Taft. Next to this is an upside-down card with lettered caption "The Past." In the back right corner is a top hat of the style favored by Wilson. Positioned vertically is a card with the hand-written caption "The Present." Unusual. Rare. N. Mint.
