Auction #197 - Part II
Item numbers 992 through 2667 in auction 197
Item Description
Lot of three. All c. 1930s. First is 12.75" tall composition figure with original metal loop monacle still attached. Light paint wear to pants. Scattered craze lines. Displays Fine. Second is 8.5" tall solid rubber figure. Similar to Seiberling Latex Product Co. Disney figures of the time. Figures of this type are very susceptible to wear and aging due to their fragile nature but this is above average example that stands independently (thanks to a tiny wooden block attached to underside of one foot). Attached metal monacle with attached string shows lt. aging/oxidation. Body has hardened and has hairline cracks from shrinking. Fine. Last is 7" tall painted plaster figure. Trace of glitter remains on top hat. Airbrush/painted accents. Scattered chips/rubs but o/w Fine. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
