Item Description
1.5x5.25x20" long box. ©1938 by McCarthy Inc. Manufactured by Marks Bros. Co., Boston Mass. Directions on box for use. Illustration on right shows dancer on boy's knee in front of radio. Text reads "For Use With Radio And Phonographs." Box complete. Lt. aging. Few tears on one end flap. Fine. 10.75" tall by .25" thick black wood figure has color surface paper image of Charlie wearing tuxedo on front with jointed arms and legs. Hole in neck for insertion of accompanying 19" long dowel rod which gives dancing affect when put together and placed on thin 5x20" board. Back of figure has paper label reading "Edgar Bergen's Charlie McCarthy/McCarthy Inc. Marks Bros. Co. Boston, Mass." Figure VF. Complete with board and stick as issued. Overall VF.
