Auction #197 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 991 in auction 197
Item Description
Of the 21 tabs, 16 are litho tin with or without a small crease at the base of the fold-over stem but all extremely clean. Four of the tabs are of aluminum foil and 2 of these 4 are a matched pair for FDR and his opponent Willkie. The fifth tab is glow-in-the-dark cardboard with the initials "FDR." The final piece in this group is not really a tab but a large litho tin die-cut in the shape of Illinois. This has a 1" brass stickpin and shows a crowing rooster with the names "Roosevelt/Schricker." The group is VF to Mint with many seldom seen.
