Item Description
This unusual 2" portrait button is listed as Hake #45 but that version has a green metal rim. This version has an unpainted tin rim. There is a pinpoint white speck under the cello just above his ear as made. All else is totally clean. The reverse is a tin sheet with soldered safety pin near the top as made. Rare and first we've seen of this variety. Hake 2004 revised value is $284.
