Item Description
c. 1950s-60s.  First is "Slinky Spiral."  Stands 8" tall with heavy paper wrapper reading "Extra Long/Tangle Proof Spring!  Twist Loose Handle For Eye Popping Action!"  2.5" dia. plastic ends read "Slinky" on each side.  Oxidation to center spring strip.  Card and toy Fine.  Next is 3" square by 2.5" tall box with text "Everybody Loves Slinky/Famous Walking Spring Toy."  Different illustrations on each side.  Box wear.  Inner flap separated but included.  Clear tape repair on top flap.  Box VG.  Metal slinky enclosed is painted blue.  About 50% of paint remains, o/w Fine.  Last is 5.25" long box for "Slinky Eyes."  Box is designed with flap at top back holed in center for store display.  Grease pen price on front.  Interesting box design of glasses on face with eyeballs seen through openings.  End flaps are illustrated ears.  Bottom panel has illustrated smile.  Box aged.  Overall Fine.  Enclosed plastic glass frames have brass slinkys attached to eye holes.  1" domed eyeballs are colorful with red blood vessels on sides.  Pupils are clear for vision.  One shows creases.  Overall Exc.  An interesting over-view of products produced by this iconic toy company.  From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
