Item Description
6.25" tall box. c. 1960s by Hiro, Japan. Box includes insert, back panel features image of robot walking across planet surface. Box has some warping to display window but it remains intact. Also a slight warp on one side panel. Still tight and clean. Box VF. Robot with built-in key is mostly hard plastic with tin litho face, chest, panel accents on legs. Variety with upper body in red, arms and legs are yellow. Chest design includes dials and gauges. At top center is die-cut opening where sparks can be viewed. These were issued both with and without a red transparent cover at this die-cut area. This is old store stock and version without the insert. Toy works and walks forward producing a spark. Mint as issued.
