Item Description
3x5x2.25" tall box. c. 1950s. Made by T.P.S./Japan. Box shows lt. age but no broken corners. Box Fine. 5" tall tin litho girl has built-in key. Attached to the front of her is a 3.5" long metal rod with pair of 1.75" long tin litho chickens. She holds a container in one hand and wears a fabric polka dot head scarf. The two chickens are in totally different color schemes. Toy works and as she moves in a circle, her right arm moves as if throwing feed and the chickens follow her around with their beaks to the ground. Her head also moves. Toy has a few tiny paint nicks but o/w glossy, bright appearance. Scarce wind-up with interesting action. VF overall. From the Carl Lobel Collection.
