Item Description
Standard size card has "AZO" around the stamp area on the reverse. Reverse is unused although has small penciled caption "I.W.W. (Wobblie) Leader Murdered In Butte." Card has text in the photographic image along the bottom margin but not all of this is totally readable. What can be read is his name. This is apparently followed by the word "Murdered" and text that can be made out "Anaconda Copper Co. Thugs." Bottom line of the text reads "Died Aug. (?) 1917 Butte, Mont." Clean and Exc. Rare.
