Item Description
1.75" sold in NYC underground stores and the curl of this has a copyright symbol plus "1966 Big Store." Button was likely issued just before Bruce's death August 3, 1966. By that time Bruce had been black-listed by nearly every night club in America as owners feared prosecution for obscenity if they gave him the stage. His last performance was June 25, 1966 at Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco on a bill with Frank Zappa and The Mothers Of Invention, for which there is a poster picturing Bruce. Slightest trace of two age dots, each less than 1/16" and barely showing. Button still displays Exc.
