Auction #197 - Part II
Item numbers 992 through 2667 in auction 197
Item Description
4.5" tall. Japan, 1930s. Her name is incised on front of base and she is depicted standing next to a garbage can with opening that serves as the toothbrush holder. Incised number on back of Minnie appears to be "A570," the equally rare matching Mickey has an incised number of "A567." An interesting production error is the fact that the incised copyright name on back is for "Percy Crosby," (Skippy creator) rather than Walt Disney. Noticeable wear to the green paint on the base, additional scattered wear and dust soiling. Top front edge of garbage can has a tiny chip only noticeable upon close inspection and actually appears as produced. Overall still Fine. One of the rarest Disney bisques of the 1930s.
