This lot comprises a complete set of the 4 bisques in this baseball themed series (3 issued in a boxed set, box included) plus fourth loose bisque. Each is about 3.25" tall. Box is designed to hold the 3-piece set with label featuring images of the bisques included which are Mickey as a batter, catcher and fielder wearing glove. Japan, 1930s. Distributed by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. Top right corner of label has some penciled numbers. Box o/w shows just very light wear and is clean and tight. Box VF. Catcher has noticeable dust soiling and much paint wear to one ear and reverse of head. VG. Number on back is "S67." The other 2 show just tiny traces of paint wear, fielder is number "S64" and is VF, while batter is "S67" and is Exc./N. Mint. Rare as a boxed set. Fourth bisque depicts Mickey wearing glove and holding baseball, number on back is "S65." Choice, Exc./N. Mint condition.
