Item Description
Sizes are 7/8" for the smallest and 1.25" for the largest. First shows "The Clark White Flier/Holds Seven Worlds Records." First we've seen button. Includes name of maker in Jacksonville, Fla. Tiniest age traces on the rim. Next is button from Boston advertising "Grand International Race/Charles River Park" held in 1897. This example is without backpaper and bottom edge has barely visible 3/16" hairline split with just a little tanning on a couple of the letters. Pictured in a clover are racers Eddie McDuffie, Jimmy Michael and Lucien Lesna. Button still displays Exc. Next shows "Miss Annis Burr Porter On Her Quaker Wheel." Next is lapel stud reading "Spalding Bicycle/Souvenir Cycle Show 1896." Next shows "Master Ray Mundy On His Crimson Rim." Last is of young child on high-wheel bike with rim text "Psychic Cycling Circus 1924." Other than the racing event, the other 4 pinbacks all have their backpapers. All are Scarce to Rare.
