Item Description
1.25" beautifully colored although with some light tan stain around the outer rim edge and a faint mark by his left leg. Still the piece displays with nice gloss. Pictured is Hugh Jennings, manager of the Detroit Tigers 1907-1920. "Ee-Yah" was Jennings' famed battle cry as the Tiger manager leading the team to 3 consecutive World Series appearances although all were losing causes for the Tigers in 1907-1909. Has unique backpaper but dark stain on about 50% although all still readable "P. Cogan & Son Men's/Fine Shoes/Boys/Stoneham, Mass." Our only other example back in Auction #161 (9 years ago) exceeded $500.
